“More than a decade ago, I started doing yoga a few months after lower back surgery.  I knew I needed help with flexibility and strengthening my core.  I started with a very strict and disciplined form of yoga that was hard work, but also beneficial.  I stepped away from it for a few years, searching for something that was less intense that I’d enjoy more.  Recently I found classes by YogaDevotion offered at work.  What a difference!  I hadn’t realized how much I missed yoga, and how important it is for those of us approaching retirement age to work on flexibility, balance and posture.  My yoga class in the middle of the week is my treat to myself – it’s the perfect blend of stretching and strengthening.  And our teacher is best yoga instructor I’ve had – her classes are better than any I’ve tried in two private yoga studios, the Y, Community Education . . . ”
