Psalm 130:5: “I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.”
We must intentionally create space for hope
without opening a spot to welcome it in
It is too easy to let doubt and fear, anger and worry fill every crevice
Create a space for hope
A hope that has sustained us from the beginning of our existence
A hope that promises we are not alone
A hope that promises there are answers,
Create a space for hope
A hope that looks forward to peace
A hope that looks forward to joy
A hope that looks forward to love
Create a space that’s malleable enough to grow as hope grows
Create a space that is pliable enough to morph as it recognizes hope in unexpected ways
Create a space that is buoyant enough so hope can float above the stormy seas of our everyday existence
Create a space for hope
