Why Yogadevotion Fall Retreat?
To Rest, to step away from everyday routines and find sabbath rest through the practice of Yogadevotion.
To Renew your relationship with God and thereby renew or create new relationships with each other.
To Return refreshed with new tools to live the life God has called you to, resting in God’s promised Presence.
As fall transitions to winter, themes of hearth, home and comfort, begin to emerge. Advent and Christmas are right around the corner from Thanksgiving, what a perfect time to retreat together. Yogadevotion’s fall retreat will create space to pause in gratitude and rest, and prepare for the holiday season. Together we seek the experience of God’s promised Presence thru yoga, prayer and meditation. There will be a time for personal reflection, rest and renewal, perhaps establishing a new habit of rest to incorporate into the busy holiday season. We will integrate our faith and yoga practice not only for our own benefit but with the intention of living what we learn in relationship with God, into the world that God created and loves enough to become human.
We will also have time to explore new and old friendships thru fellowship and fun! Please register early so we can better prepare for our time together….$100 deposit secures your space, full payment due one week prior to the retreat on Friday November 2, 2018. The retreat starts at 4 on Friday and is concluded at noon Sunday. A more detailed schedule will be sent closer to the date with an option to gather for lunch in Alexandria. We look forward to our time together on beautiful Lake Carlos at Mount Carmel Retreat Center in Alexandria, MN.
