Chair Yoga is a specific form of yoga practiced sitting on a chair or standing using a chair for support. It has the same benefits as mat-based yoga classes, such as helping with stress, pain, and fatigue and it can also help with joint lubrication and balance. Combining slower moving asanas (or poses) with gentle transitions allow the student to mindfully enter yoga poses safely.
